About I decided to remove my previous posting of this scene and replace it with this film version . I just got these slides back today and I found this to simply be a better composition with more accurate colors . I hope this gives viewers a better sense of how cold and clean this waterfall area really was . Zero wind , -12C degrees ,
and 2 1/2 hours hike into the bush . This water was coooold !

Thanks everyone . The more I try nature photography , the more I've come to realize that nature does not come to you , but, you have to go find it . This does take some effort on occasion . It certainly has given me a lot more appreciation for the people that do this for a living .

You work for your shots, don't you, Rob! Very nice results, though! This is a cool photo in more ways than one. Really looks good.

That's one of the additional benefits of a VR lens . It helps to compensate for shivering :)

I enjoyed your previous post, but yes, this one does it even more justice. I'm glad I saw the wider view, but this is overall a better photo. The picture is clear, so I guess you were dressed for the hike and not shivering and shaking when you took it! (And kept your camera warm, too...)

wonderful shot, nice colors and detail on the non moving objects, the water looks like cotton at that slow shutter speed, very nice, and credit to you to go though what you did to get it.. well done.......
