Location City -  Ponte de Lima
State -
Country - Portugal   Portugal
About In Ponte de Lima Mounts, some old rock walls separate territory and ground parcels, as in ancient Romans Time. Ponte do Lima (Lima Bridge) town name came from a legend. According to the legend, when the Romans reached this point on their march through Iberia they had a great deal of trouble leaving because the soldiers were convinced the Rio Lima was the River Lethes - the mythical river of oblivion - and that if they crossed it they would forget everything. It was only after their leader, Decimus Junius Brutus, plunged ahead and shouted back their legionaries' names that they braved the waters.

The Roman bridge after which Ponte de Lima is named supposedly marks the very spot, and is part of the Roman road from Braga to Astorga in Spain.

I also had the 10D for about a year, the 20D Is for me far better, the 8 megapixal upgrade was not a reason for me to upgrade, I liked the new focusing system, its really fast compaired to the 10D, much more accurate, the new image processor seems to be much more close on colors, there is no longer a flash problem like with the 10D under or overexposing the shot, there are many other features which make this a good upgrade, some you may benefit from some you may not use, such as the ability to shoot raw and jpg at the same time, the one button focus point adjustment comes in handy for me, as well as the 1/10th of a second instand on after sleep mode keeps me from missing a shot while I wait for the camera to power back up again, The sensor does seem to get dusty more than the 10D but I cannot tell if that is a problem with the camera or my new 100-400mm push pull lens, which i did not have with the 10D, hope this helps,,, and thanks for any comments you may have left for me..

Hi Marcus, I seen you are using Canon 20D, can you give some feedback about this new camera (like me you had the canon 10D before)
