wonderful pastoral scene Rebecca. That was my sentiments too. I'm glad I moved back to a rural setting. there is always so much to do. It keeps me busy all the time and I like that. The kind of busy that is rewarding personally and not necessarily rewarded monetarily. Which seems so much of what living in the city is about

Beautiful pastoral scene, Rebecca! I live 'out in the country' but it doesn't look like this! Your balance of colors is really nice in this and, although the barn is rather centered I think the swell of the hills on the right and the cows on the left help keep the eye moving about to all the point of interest. Nicely done!

A beautiful bucolic scene indeed. So peaceful and serene. Lovely work, Rebecca. Just don't move so far back into the country that you wind up back in LA. You know we don't have any scenes like this. lol

The red barn and the cows are so nice to see and the greens are really nice, the strong shadows cast on the grass are the finishing touch to this beautiful photo!

Beautiful rolling sun lit hills Rebecca. Lovely soft autumn tones fading to sunwashed background and the perfect countrified center piece with the red barn and cows.

Beautiful setting and lighting. From what I'm reading you did fine considering the circumstances.

I tried it as a panorama, and it was fine. I just can't seem to get over my awe of these rolling hills and mountains! lol.. I wish I could have gotten a shot with the barn not as centered, but in this case, there were more buildings on the left, which at the time included a man working, and his new truck there, and farther to the right was nothing. So I took it anyway. Thanks for comenting. I look forward to seeing more of yours also :)

Very nicely crafted Rebecca. Almost wonderful enough to make me forget the winter that is soon to follow. The horizontal lines are dominant and I wonder if it would look better as a shorter panoramic crop. Fine as is. John B

You've captured the essence of the mountains in Virginia. I'll never get sick of them or your pictures of them.
