I didn't use any filter and I also agree with the lack of coors that's why I like the b&w version better.

Ithink that this lacks some color; was a polarizer filter used? Or a warming filter?
I also use only slide film in the city; it has less latitude, but gives superior images; Fuji Provia 100, Sensia 100, or Fuji Velvia 100.
Kodak also makes some very nice 100 or 400 ISO side films; I use them also, and they are superior to color negative films.

I find it hard to choose between both photos, but if I have to make a choice a choose the colored one, because I don't like the sky in the B&W version.
