About I changed a lot in this photo. The walls are actually green (ugly) and the window (where the light is coming in) is over-exposed so I cropped it out. Let me know what you think of this. Too minimalist? Too much screwing around on PS?

Thanks for the comment. No, it's not evident in the original because I had to clean up the image overall thus the neck of the lamp is blended into the wall (not on purpose).

cool composition. the deep maroon is much better than a pale washed out green. It appears that there is a slight blur to the lamp though. Is that evident in the original picture?
