At the time of this post I was missing one of my best friends, wishing he were with me to hike like back in the day. Plus, you know, drama sells! lol D

I never had experienced before which meaning it has to find a fitting title for a picture. The picture itself is nice and the colours makes you think of past times, but the Picture COMBINED with the title makes me remember where I have sat once with my love. And if the love is gone, it really makes you cry like tara said. I would have liked it more with another frame (perhaps just a thin black line or with some white space round the picture and then the frame you have used). Kind regards, Gerhard.

Dorothy, great use of DOF and a beautiful, emotional composition. Your portfolio is progressing very well. I like the frame too.

I love this... too bad for the low resolution, but the shot is really astonishing... it reminds me of a bench in the Shetland Islands, just outside Lerwick, where I used to sit waiting for the sunset, looking at the lighthouse and reading "The mists of Avalon"...
Thank you for sharing Dottie :-)

I'm in nostalgic mood too Dottie as some pals and I yesterday spread the ashes of an old railway photographing buddy at our old stamping ground. So I fully understand the sentiments behind this shot. Best wishes. Den
