OK Peter, I had some fun with this one. Seemed that when I cropped, I didn't like it, so I only ended up cropping a little bit, let me know what you think! :)

Hi Peter,
I agree, the frame is too much. The flower is beautiful though!! I think I would do a quick mask, then tone down the other flowers and maybe blur a little. Then the eye would go to the main flower. Maybe crop a bit. This looks like something I would probably spend way too much time playing around with.
OK...I just copied the original, I want to take a 'look' at it. I'll let you know what I come up with, LOL (maybe or maybe not! LOL)

Nice rose and well captured, Peter. I see what you were doing with the frame. Perhaps I would have dropped the background instead.
