i appreciate that. i don't think that you have to write out what it means when it's something that's deeper than words can describe. and that's why one takes a photograph rather than write a poem.

Thanks Lucy, perhaps part of the problem is I create work that appeals to me and then I try to explain why, sometimes even I don't know why. Not being a writer, I fall short. ;)

Hi Lucy. Thanks for your comment. Here is my rationale: The notice board had all the notes torn off leaving just the tacks, staples and torn bits of paper. I liked the image of the couple - they seem resolved and/or content and perhaps there was a relationship with having said enough and no notes. It's quite surreal. I'm attempting to improve my titles too. Best, David

Hey Kev, I'm experimenting with a series of digital double exposures. Next one will be posted in 2 hours, 23 mins and counting.....

Oh, and actually the wood chips are really torn pieces of paper, thumb tacks and staples in an old notice board.
