Well Shot, But your forgot to add very important data. the " About " for the one of the most famous mosques in Egypt, and this is one of the basic aim of Usefilm for different culture to know each other. " Ahmad Ibn Tulun was born at Iraq in AD. 835, And came to Egypt as a governor under the Abbasid Caliphate of Al-Mu'tamad Billah on Wednesday 23 Ramadan AH 254 (14 September AD 868). He was made vice governor of Syria five years later with egypt.

Then he declared an independent state that was to be ruled by members of his family for 38 years. Historians described him of being firm, is reign was described as being one of growth and stability and he was known of being tall and handsome.

At the beginning of his reign Ahmad Ibn Tulun was able to get rid of Ahmad Ibn Al-Mudabir, the tax collector of the Abbasid court who aspired to take Egypt for himself.

When Ibn Tulun first arrived in Egypt he found the capital, Al-Askar, inadequate for his court and army. He demolished the tombs between Al-Askar and the Muqattam hills. He founded a new capital, Al-Qata'i. Ibn Tulun was the first ruler during Egypt's Islamic era to declare independence. He set an example that was followed by many of his successors. His reign was described as being one of growth and stability. Apparently, Ibn Tulun was tall in stature. The name of his father, Tulun, meant full moon. Died at Egypt in AD. 884 .
