This deep blue lake is 60 miles in India and 60 miles in China. This image was made from the India side about 50 miles from the Tebetian Border. The lake is virgin due to the prohibitively difficult access which requires a skilled driver willing to cross the Changla Pass (18000ft). The lake is at an altitude of 12000ft and is a 2 day drive from Leh (Ladakh).
The Exposure details will be made available upon request.
Thanks Carolyn, James and Amit for you time and attention. I will keep posting pictures from Ladakh as they get through my editing process. Please feel invited to come and critique.
