Ameed, you wrote "There is a Chinese legend, it says: When GOD created the world, he made all the couples as one heart, but the devil didn't like this, so with his stick, smashed those hearts, so they all felt down to the earth all broken to two half's, and sense then every half is looking for the other half. "
That makes so much sense. I hear of so many people out there looking for their match only to wonder, is this really the right person for me. Only they can answer that question.

The first when i saw this picture i was like .. hmmmmmm ... but when i've read your about, i neglected the technical side, as i said before, it is hard to rate emotions. There is a Chinese legend, it says: When GOD created the world, he made all the couples as one heart, but the devil didn't like this, so with his stick, smashed those hearts, so they all felt down to the earth all broken to two half's, and sense then every half is looking for the other half. You managed to find lots of full hearts in here, i would give it 10 from the idea and emotional side. Very well done, regards,

Kurt, I think your comment would have to be the nicest comment I have ever received. So beautifully written and obviously from the heart. It obviously took you some time to write and that to me is special.
"It may seem nothing special to the eyes of you and me But the jewelers eye sees something else, something we don't see. . ."
that is what this is all about. Look deep and you will see what is inside, you will see the beauty and you will see the perfection. How many times do people see only the surface...and not what is truly there.
Yes, you are right, what choice is the right choice? Do we ever know? I think that choice will always be questioned, but only one does know the truth. And they have to make that choice.
I know this comment is emotional, but I think we all go through times when we question our own beliefs in life.

Judi, I've been staring at this image for quite some time now. (through two cups of coffee, lol) I'm not going to comment on the technical aspects of the photograph; I'll leave that to the UF'ers with much more expertise than I have. It is not so much the image itself that is so intriguing to me; it is your title and comments that keep me lost in the picture. If you will permit me to be audaciously self-indulgent, I would like to share some lines from a song that I wrote some years ago entitled "Diamond In The Rough".
A diamond in the rough looks like an ordinary stone. The untrained eye might pass it by, its true value never known. It may seem nothing special to the eyes of you and me But the jewelers eye sees something else, something we don't see. . .
This image reminded me of that song. The repetition and harmony in the leaves of this little tree have a poetic quality that may not be obvious to some. You are the prospector that has found a hidden gem, unearthed it, polished it, and shared it with all of us. How many people pass by this very tree every day and don't give it a second glance? The contrast is so striking - the Tree of Love shines the brightest when surrounded by darkness. When the darkness of trouble overshadows our lives, that's when we need the light of love to see our way. Yes, love comes in many shapes, shades and choices. But which one is the right choice. . . I believe that just as there are many wrong choices, there are also many "right" choices, not just one. There are many diamonds in the rough, each capable of becoming a beautiful gem. The question, to me, is: how much of ourselves are we willing to give to our choice? I apologize for my lengthy response, but where some see a simple picture of a tree, others see the soul of an artist. Best wishes, Kurt

Thankyou Teunis. I was quite perplexed as to the location of this tree. There were no others trees in this area of the same species. It just stood there begging to be noticed.

This is a great composition and a prove that one may find love in unexpected places :) ... but no one, never can tell which is the right choice, we have to live with that.
I like the way you highlighted the "love tree".
Many kisses,
Florin
