I've done some walking in St. Katherine's area. I've also done a couple of hikes with SS. I do recognize your name from the group, but did not happen to meet you. Thanks for your comments on my photographs. I appreciate it. Regards, Shahenaz

Hi Shahenaz, DOF means Deapth Of Focus, and it's the area both infront and behind the subject that is in focus with the subject. It depends on the apperature, the more the narrow appperature the more the DOF, and the wider the apperature the less the DOF. Also it depends on the zoom (focal length), the more you zoom in, the less the DOF, and the more you zoom out the more the DOF. Looking forward to sharing more photos with you, Regards, Khaled.

Yes, I seem to have focused on the branch so it became out of focus. I tried to play a bit with PS to give it a bit of a hazy effect. I just loved her expression. What's narrow DOF? And DOF? Yeah, Fatima is my lovely niece and a great model as well.

Nice shot for this lovely girl...it seems that the camera has focused on the branch of the tree or the jacket, in the mean time there was a narrow DOF in addition to movement of the girl. Anyway, it's a beautiful shot for this pretty girl, bay God bless her. Regards, Khaled.
