About Went to Atlantic City today and came across this 100 ft. Schooner, docked at the Trump Marina. I'm sorry that I didn't get all the information .. but this is what i found out. She's called..the "SIV UNICORN" .. and was built in 1943 in the Netherlands. But here's the kicker... her hull is made of steel..and the steel hull was once a German U-Boat. After learning this .. I inspected the hull and built on area above the white "shear" line. Yep.. you can see the steel plates welded together. What a marvellous undertaking and display of ship building at it's best. She appears to have a full crew .. for it is obivious that real he-man power is required to hoist the sails and handle the rigging.

I would like to know if the "dutch" word "siv" .. stands for "the"??
