thankyou so much Amanda. I used f2.0 with a standard lens so the dof is at exposure. The blueish colour behind is my brother's denim shirt as he was doing the music for her party (4YO)!! The muted colour is from desaturating at about 65% opacity and adding a skylight filter over the top.

Wow! She is definetly beautiful! Did you manually blur the background, or was it a DOF choice? It looks perfect, either way. And Im just loving the soft, muted colours.
