I will explain what happened with this first image. I had some images of a tunnel from the beach into the sea. i took several pictures of the water going in and out. took them, "set" them aside. very oftern I go through my photographs and look at them, one time one way, another time another way, so it was with these images. I can't explain why, but those images just spoke to me this morning. cropping once, twice, three times in experimenting with the textures these images can create. well, this time for some reason it just gelled, well at least for me. the images I will post today and tommorrow were created from simingly simple pictures, and became something else . . . . . call it studies in texture, i don't know, but I know that some of you will understand that I felt extreme joy in the creation of these images! fern benson p.s.
