This is the sort of moment I never quite see--except when there is a camera handy. The young woman behind the ladder seems unconscious of the workmen, to be sure. The framing is a bit odd--between those two strong, fuzzy verticals, but I like the effect of having the workmen become part of a much larger scene.
This time your "Public Works" opened properly, and it was posible to enjoy its bold composition. The backlighting enabled the green of the worksmen to stand out of the green of the folliage and the tree and the lamp-post add strength. I also like the way the ladder is like an extension of the workman on the right. Thank you, George, for your comprehensive and generous comment on my "Candles". Regards, Raf
