I agree that the manipulation to negative colors create interest .... at first. But looking longer at the picture one still - even with the wrong colors -cannot ignore that the photo has a light and beautiful and a heavy and not so beautiful part. The composter in the left back (or whatever it is as well as the clutter surounding it add a contradictive heaviness to the rest of the picture that is quite distracting to me as does the grey block on the bottom. The girl and the flowers in contrast are beautiful in texture, light in weight, elegant in the lines and delicate and enticingly coloured. And I bet this was the relation also in the positive version. But I could imagine that the negative also enhances the quality in those parts noticeably. Thus a good and worthy experiment. Very criative. The negative effect could transform a busy image into an atractive collor composition.
