It's a " muir" cat .. Jeff .... lives in burrows .. on the calahari...... this one looks like a "look-out". ..... Great capture..... super expression.

A good animal portrait. The guy seems alert and ready for anything. There are almost all middle tones. Have you tried upping the contrast? There is excellent detail in his face where it counts.

I have been observing it for quite a while and I like very much the effect between the tree trunk and the little fellow ( I haven't seen one in real life... so I hope he is little.. :) )
The expression is great... He seems to be carved in the stone...
