I,too,am a cracked mud fan and have one called "mud,simply mud" in my portfolio probably under photoart that you may like..the shadows,lighting and tone work great here..the vertical format suits this,too..well seen and captured,Fern..gayle
I think the lines of the cracks reflect the lines of the dried plants. I think if I weren't so tired right now I could read all kinds of symbolism in this. I think all your pictures are rich in that way.
