I like the subject matter (a bit of an explanation in the "about" field would be nice) but think that the photograph could have been composed more effectively. If we are comparing the flower and the tower (both still standing) then the flower should also be sharp. Otherwise - for me it just gets in the way of the architecturally interesting tower. If it was being used as a framing device that would be a whole different story (but then - that would also be a whole different picture).

I tend to disagree with Maria, the composition is quite static as is so often the case when the only subject is dead in the centre.
