Thank you all for your great comments. Doug to answer your question. In my opinion you cant compare slides to negatives. Specially because you control the output of your shot. Negatives, the colors are most of the time altered by the lab and often your shot come back with undesirable results. with slide, labs cannot alteredt the results what you shoot is what you get..But remember that slide dont forgive if your exposure is off yoiu will know right away.

The effect of the long exposure on the water is almost unearthly... contributes a mysterious atmosphere. I normally like water to look like, well, water (!) but this works at a quite different level. A rare landscape mode scene from you, too!

Nice work Pat. It must have been dark to get away with a 4 mins exposure but the long exposure's brought out the colour in the sky and created some very mysterious looking water.

wats a reverse grad filter?
a stupid q to some but why couldnt u just turn your normal grad (dark top, lighter bottom) upside down??
or is there something else im missing here?
