Dear Bill, my comment on your shot was stimulated by the fact that the photo attracts me, namely the object of nautical origin is a very interesting one; my suggestion, whic came from my personal opinion AFTER seeing your shot is that this object can be emphasized in those way I suggest; actually may be your choice could have been the mine in the real occasion. I am interested in your suggestion on my shots of course, this is the reason I am here, not the first one but the second most important. About my condescending attitude in my comments it would be nice to hear from you some examples because I did not exactly realize it excluding some misunderstanding due to to the foreign language I use here for which I do not master a wide choice of different words as for my mother language of course. Sorry for this, however.

Tell you what Antonio ..... I just returned from a fla. vacation and read your comment. .. I was going to leave it alone .. but no.. it needs a reply. This Image is posted in the catagory of " journalism" ... It is not a portrait. The only angle offered to me was straight on..and the pully was in a tray along with like items(nautical). where the seller placed it. The Image shows the sharpness and detail.. as well as the character of the pully. No DOF.. is required. Go to my folio and you will see the classic use of "DOF"...... matter of fact .. go through the whole folio... you will see photos never posted by other photographers. I can't recall you commenting on any other post of mine ... and this comment on the pully had a touch of condecending attitude .. which is noticable in many of your comments to others. I have viewed your folio and you have some excellent images .. but there is lots of room for improvement... If you care to email me ... I will point them out.

~~~~~~~~~~ Regards....... Bill
interesting object but the perspective should be angled and the background could be composed by less crowded material or unfocused a bit with right dof
