A refurbish project of the Simon Kenton Memorial Bridge. This image was scanned on a negative scanner and printed at home. Please look at Blue Bridge, which was developed and printed at a photo shop. It has an unrealistic but pleasing blue tone. What do you think?
James, I'm 5'3", I have a lot of trouble with tilted images. In this case, I was trying to shoot above the railing of the walkway I was standing on, so I titled the camera up on the tripod. I know better, but I did it anyway. You're right, I should have rotated it. I still have so much to learn! Thanks for your comments, every bit of advice helps. Susan
Both prints (silver & blue) a very nice. I always use a film-scanner for my slides and negatives and finalise them with Photoshop. You can buy a Nikon Coolscan 2000 very cheap via Ebay (I just sold my old one) it works excellent and gives you much more freedom. regards
i like this shot, the mist in distance is what does it really. but i think you should have rotated the image CCW slightly. having it tilted doesnt do the picture any good, in my opinion.
