what I like in this one is the dof....and the purple flower on the foreground..you did a good job with this one......next Friday/Saturday my friend comes over from England, and I buying Danny's Minolta 7I, the same you have I guess....I hope I can work with it.....if I need some help I ask you if you agree with that...because the manual is in ENGLISH.....and Dutch is a bit easier for me.....I post a image today "The bug hunter" that's my friend and teacher......

How interesting that Den says the frame is the 'icing on the cake' an English expression I hope you understand. I was thinking the sheath of the gladioli looked like icing. This is a superb shot, the bud just coming into flower beautiful

WOooooooW, beautiful Rene. I like the way the focus drops off and the colour gradient behind the main subject. The frame adds icing to the cake. Lovely shot. My compliments.
