About	Went out today to find some "photo ops" and came across this sail-cat .. trying to connect to its mooring.... when a pack of blazing cigarettes came screaming through. .. Thought you'd like to see this.

Hi Richard .. Here's the story: I went through Toms river on my way to the shore. Where the "toms River" ends in town .. there are several canals and there i came across these Cigarettes .. taking a break. I said to one guy .. "what's going on?" .. He explaind that this group .. over 40 boats... was making a "poker run" ..... from New York area down to Atlantic City (gambling) .. and this was a rest stop. I shot a few pix and went on my way to the shore.
While I was photographing the Sail Cat... up the bay they come .. screaming...It was sort of open water..as to your mention of Iddle water area. They went right out the Inlet to the Atlantic Ocean .... to continue their "poker Run".
As Paul would say " and that's the rest of the story" .. lolololo.

Oh .. yes ..I'm really into frames now .. trying to enclose my photographs with complementing shades of color. Your mention of it hasn't gone unnoticed ... you rascal you.

Those catamarans are fast, but they wouldn't be able to keep up with the powerboats. Aren't they made to throttle down when near shore? An interesting juxtaposition of sail and power.

Hi Bill,

A beautiful sailboat you got here... I love the color of the sky and how the clouds frame the sail... I love the contrast between the sailboat and the speeding boats in the background... A great composition...
