Micky, thank you for your compliment and helpful comments. This is one of my favorites. For one reason, it was one of the first ones to come out close to what I hoped for and, second, I love the combination of the colors with the fuzzy center and sharp outer circle contrast. We enjoyed them so much that my daughter and I had to stop ourselves from posting more. Good to hear from you, Rodney

Thank you, Paul. After messing up on some many exposures this was one of the first ones to come out right. I'm glad you like it. Rodney

WOW!! Great firework shots Rodney,I was attracted to the symetry of this one , reminds me of a thistle flower head and stem.Good work. Thanks for your kind comment on my Clouds Over Horse Range, yes we are so lucky to live in such a lovely Country and be able to visit these wide open spaces just an hours drive from home. Greeting to you and your family from the Land Of the Long White Cloud. Micky.

Jim, thank you for the compliments. I'm going to post some more. The only way anyone can use the bulb feature on the Canon 300D is to use one of the remotes. I have the wireless remote and the response was sometimes sluggish, so I have a lot that are over exposed. I'm sorry you got rained out. I would have loved to see images of a fireworks display taken by you. If they are like your other photographs, I know they would have been tremendous. Thanks again for writing. Rodney

excellent capture I know how difficult this kind of shot can be. The trails of the starburst are perfect.
