Yes, I know. I still have family there. I'm in California now, but my heart will always be in P'Coloa. When I first looked at your photo I thought It was Fort Pickens, but after reading your comments on it, I realized I was wrong. Still brings back memories though.

Thanks for the kind comments. Where do you live now? The Gulf coast got hit hard by Hurricane Ivan last year.

Your photos really take me home. I grew up in Pensacola. I miss it so much! You have a great eye for photography. I miss running through that fort hiding in all the little nooks and crannies.

I do not know this Fort... and will have to look up some of the histoire... but one can visulise the happening in years past... the capture allows one to wonder... well done!
