Vivid colours, the way I like them.

The weather looks absolutely lovely. I like Lukasz Kuczkowski's demonstration that by just altering the colours, the mood changes from cheerful to ominous.

Lukasz,

I wish I thought about (and was able to) doing that. It's a great result and makes the image a lot more interesting.

Thanks for that, and please don't ask for forgiveness :)

interesting perspective; I think that b&w version of your image would be also interesting, I converted your image (please forgive me) to b&w, cropped a little and changed light curves to obtain slightly different image

best regards

Whereas the one of the stairs had depth this one just sucks you in! Very minimalist, I don't think it needs an object like Eddy suggests. Making the road fit better and end in the corners might be an improvement though, perhaps cutting a bit from the bottom?

Congrats :)

Eddy,

I agree with you. Unfortunately nobody was available at that moment, and I thought my beat up Punto would have ruined the image somehow...

As for the composition I agree again, but felt that I didn't want to spoil the rules of thirds for it. Of course, I could have cropped some of the top too to keep the thirds right, but then that pretty cloud at the top would have been sacrificed.

Thanks :)

interesting perspective. it would be more interesting if there is an object in this photo (like a car or maybe a person in bike, etc). also, the composition is going to be much nicer if you could fit the end of the road at the bottom to the left and right of the frame.

Very nice! Great perspective and perfect depth. Excellent colors too. Well done.

I bet the road leads somewhere, anyway. ;)
