Thank Neil for the tips. I do have a grsd filter cokin B2 A 123 which I was given but never used. Would I use this with a low iso film - iso 50 or is it more for higher iso rated films. Thanks again for your help Greg.

Hi Greg, keep listening to John, he knows what he's talking about. Apart from the comments that John mentioned, i also think you could have maybe tried a grad filter on the sky. The contrast difference between the sky and the ground is too much for your film, the way to get around this is to hold back the exposure of the sky using a grad filter or (as i do) make 2 exposures (of course on a tripod) one for the sky and the other for the ground and then combine them in photoshop. I think you are on the right track with your photography Greg and i admire your will to learn, this is a great site for that. I'm sure you will notice a difference when you lower the ISO as you have mentioned. Best wishes and keep em coming - Neil

Hi Gregg. I like the composition with the Flax head as a focal point. The think the tussock could be a little bit lighter and more saturated and a bit more contrast in the sky. The panorama format works well. This is what I mean. Regards John
