You can barely see the pilot crank starting the engine of this beautiful airplane. The BT-13 was designed as a military trainer for new pilots. The color scheme was the late 1930's and early 1940's US Navy. After Pearl Harbor, the Navy did away with the yellow, white and red stripes.
Nice sharp shot of this classic plane, great colours. I always wonder how these guys get out of the way of the propellor, seems really precarious to me! Anyway,you might know the site but if not try posting to www.JetPhotos.net where it would be popular I'm sure. Ian
