Very beaultiful!

It's really similiar to my photo. My original image is the face of the dog. When I noticed the eye I decided to crop it.

Best whishes

Actually, he was named not after the canned meat so popular in Hawaii, but after the annoying e-mails (and this was 6 years ago, before they got REALLY annoying).

The trick is to turn the texture opacity way down. I think it was about 20% and feathered at the edges.

Wow, look at that detail, and the eye, one of the most creative I have seen, it is incredible. How you did that and kept the depth without making it look opaque is quite a talent. Quite the dazzling effect.

Ooh! Cool! I like your PS work more because it's so original! But you can't have lost details in the dark eyes, because in the layered one there is really a very interesting depth!

It's actually not a window light, it is a soft-box light. The blue is a layer I composited in.
In the original, his eye was just black

Interesting and well taken closeup! Kind of abstract, and it looks really cool with the window square in the eye!
