About .....or the Indian Mango. Beautiful foliage and flowers well on their way to becoming fruits, drew me to this composition. These trees used be my favorite during the summer hols as a kid visiting grandparents'. Now it's more of a fond memory than anything else. Mango belongs to the family of Anacardiaceae ("Cardia" possibly refers to its heart-shape) which includes cashew, pistachio, poison ivy and also sumac. I did not know all this until today!?!
