Very beautiful photo, Rawabi! Although slowly fading away, the flower's inner beauty still shines through thanks to the wonderful back lighting - it glows! I'm not too sure about the textured surface on which it lies - I think I would prefer something simpler? Very nicely done!
By the way, the song you quote was originally in French, written by Jacques Brel and titled "Le Moribond" The English lyrics were written by Rod McKuen and, I think, originally recorded by the Kingston Trio. Very appropriate choice of lyrics!

Oh Rawabi, this is soooooo beautiful! The way it's formed... and with this brilliant light... wow! I feel I would like to crop a bit from bottom, but I might be wrong... perhaps it would lose a lot from this wonderful feeling.
