I think you are right about the background but I wanted something a little different than grass or the deck as a background. Re the label- I saw it and deliberately left it there. Yes the glove like me is raw but we are both improving. Thank you for your comments

Hey,,so now you are finally becoming Americanized, I bet a comment like that is enough to make you stop playing. Oh supposed to comment on the picture not the player. Excellent Excellent detail, your learning that new cam. Del.

I think the choice of a better background would have helped this a lot... perhaps the green grass of a baseball diamond, or up against the chainlink fence. The white of the bench / fence seems to compete too much with the baseball.
As well, attention to the little details, like cutting off the white plastic tag (unless you were trying to get across how new everything was) and the tag on the inside of the glove. It's little things like this that tend to pull my attention away from the shot.
Keep shooting though... just like baseball, practice makes perfect!

Well, since your sons play soccer and you play softball...unless you are VERY egocentric, who is the "for you?" Hmmm...scrathces head. Looks waaayyyy down in center of glove. I am puzzled...my glove has a well formed and battered-dirty pocket from the gazillion balls I have caught...Whne will your first be???? Love the shot lass.

Very appealing shot. Great detail. How old is your son??? I assume that's your son who plays. and Happy Mother's day by the way!
