Reminds me some of Bracey as well. It does have an intriguing washed-out/underwater look. And some interesting non-subject matter. Also a tension of sorts between the specific real details and the more imagined. A fine subtle piece. Thanks.
Oh, I've been a fan for years, since I first saw his photos on Qiang Li's photocritique.net forum. In my book, at least, he's one of the best of the new Canadian photographers. Certainly he's had an influence on me personally, in my way of seeing things. Sometimes that shows up in a Zornish photo, as here. More often it's an interior, sort of existential, thing, with less obvious results.
