One of my very first attempts at using frames. Your comments are spot on, I hadn't thought about doing those things but when you mention them I can see where they would be s definate improvement. The faded area of the frame should "match" the rest of the photo instead of being a complete different color.
I like the photo, and I like the frame - I think it would look even better if you added a bit of noise to the photo, and then toned the frame using the same colours (but darker) as the picture - so that the two really gel together. Very nice!
Ok Andrew, since you made some nasty remarks about my photo Shiny let me be frank. I usually never rate low,but I feel that when people with no knowledge of photography attack me I feel obliged to respond honestly. This photo is a mess, starting from the background ( what are these things that appear over there by the way?? ),the blurred details, the lack of sharpness and the borders....and your're talking about Photoshop knowledge??? Well, the point is that I have a LCD monitor which reflects glare, hence the slight imprecisions on my photo. You are entitled to your opinion, but also am I. Sorry, this is not my style, but you pushed me. Regards,Antonella
