Location	City - Middle of No-where State - WYOMING Country - United States
About	This shot was made while driving to a dinosaur dig site in Wyoming. During rain-storms, the roads would be washed out and we'd be cut off from "civilization" until the dirt hardened up a bit. On one occasion, our truck got stuck in a ditch that had been carved out by a flash flood ...at 2 a.m., about 3 miles from our campsite. Good times!

The mix of colour here is wonderful, especially how the dark blue of the sky contrasts so well with the red dirt. The road leads my eye into the image and into those great hills. The sky seems soft though... almost out of focus, but you seem to have great depth of field everywhere else so I'm confused as to how this happened.
Still, a truly stunning sight.. thanks for sharing!
