Thank you Richard ... for your informative critique ....and , yes.. you're right. The 16x20 print is beat up some but i have always liked it. So .. i took it outside and shot it with my digital. Maybe sometime soon,I'll be able to master "photo shop" and clean prints like this up. From viewing your portfolio .... are you also a pilot? Thanks again ....... Bill

I like the modeling on the smoke trail, luminous on top and dark on the bottom. Of course, the line of smoke is a leading diagonal line which draws the eye to the subject. In most public forums I have noticed aircraft images do not get their due. Most people don't relate to them like I do. There are some serious quality issues with this ? maybe scanned from an old print? There are also pronounced "jaggies" on the diagonal lines of the wing, fuselage, etc. which may indicate a high magnification or maybe it is just a low resolution scan.
In spite of the technical imperfections the image itself is dramatic and exciting!
