I can see why this photo as a thumbnail would be passed over for others. It's a shame as it's a really cool black and white shot. Very confusing on my eye I must say and that's what made me study it. Nice one & as you say B&W thumbnails are often not as appealing as colour ones. Keep on snapping and good luck with the B&W.

I noticed your comment about how the thumbnail of this didn't do it justice. How right you were! This is a wonderful picture. I know from experience how difficult it is to render the texture of water realistically. This is superb! Really WET water. Don't be discouraged by lack of comments. You're doing great! And when people realise it you'll get comments aplenty.
