I'm of two minds about this. I like the vertical composition, but the snow seems to divide the image into two separate pictures, which then asks the question, what is the subject? The foreground or the buildings? If it's the city, then maybe a close in view, retaining some of the overhead branches, might me more effective.

Hi Jeff, Great shot, and a very nice capture of the Calgary Skyline. Beautiful winterday....I like the plume on top of the hightest building; it's like a candle....;o) Very good composition and nice saturated colours....

Another beautifully vivid and well composed depiction of Calgary. I love how you are able to combine the simple foregrounds with the more detailed main aspects of your images. Very picturesque.
