Yes, RAW is the only way to go for keeping the moire completely under control. There is little to none to be found. Mostly none. In fact, I'm trying to remember a RAW file that had ANY. Jpeg, that's another thing...but more than good enough for all but the larger prints and in some cases can go large too.

Wow, the strong manmade verticals of the smokestacks and the horizontal mass of the turbine building at left is balanced so beautifully by natural contours of the hills at right. You joined them together so nicely with the points of light running through the powerplant and along the shoreline at right. The sunrise colors are beautiful, as are the colors of the reflections in the bay.
My wife and I love Morro Bay, and we try to stop there every time we visit in California. Thanks for your beautiful image.
