Ahh, Bakewell, home of the famous Bakewell Tart. I love the Peak District, and you obviously have some fond memmories of it too.
You have a good image here, the framing of the tree to close out the top of the fram, and the lane leading the eye round the corner to who knows where (well I do know actually ;-).
Excellent image.

Lighting is a bit harsh...But the thought of walking those narrow strrets/sidewalks... do they serve kidney Pie????

Difficult to take shot in the harsh sunlight, But good effort and great composition. My suggestion (with PS) darken by duplicate layer/ multiply and regulate by opacity slider. Best regards Jorg

Very nice photo. I usually love the scenes of town or village streets like this. Calm and peaceful.
