Whoa! Winter in Moscow! What's going on there? ... or is it St. Petersburg now?
I prefer to see views like this with people simply strolling through as opposed to ICBM's and tanks rolling through. Your picture definitely makes this product of the 80's think a bit about things.

Gabrielle,I find myself in some disagreement with the previous comments. The barriers provide sharp foreground detail and perspective which only enhances the misty mood of the background scene. I like how the two men are exiting through the gap balanced by the family heading into the scene. Perhaps you can clone out the large snowflake top right,but otherwise it looks good and 'real'. Ian

Nice mood at the red square, like the colors, though I do not understand why you put these barriers square in front, blocking the view. I actually think the mood is nice and those barrier lines do not quite fit to the story. Just an opinion. Best regards Jorg
