Hello, George,

Back in '64.... I was 14 years old and went door-to-door handing out campaign material for LBJ. I thought that if Senator Goldwater were to be elected, the world would come to an end.

20 years later, I found myself admiring this great American.

20 years later still, I realize that Senator Goldwater was a man of great vision and integrity. Most of us had him all wrong. He wasn't the lunatic we made him out to be in '64.

Thanks for the reminder.

Best regards,
SteveR
