Yes...I was a catcher in high school. Perfect. Every player knows exactly what has to be done. Slide/cover/backup/toss/dive/throw/tag..the on-deck batter is interested...the bloke in the dugout is fixated...and when the dust settles, when the roaring ceases....
he is "SAFE!!!" You should crop this with less lower image. Close the view, more like a widescreen image...and it is killer. Jim great shot...but then...I am prejudiced.

Duane, nice action baseball shot. It's a good shot with good interest and altough there are some distractions (background people), after looking at their facial expressions - I think it adds further interest to the photo. The focus seems a little soft, but I understand this situation where multiple things are going on - all at slightly different distances from the camera and sometimes this can make things hard on the photographer! None-the-less, its a very nice shot! Best Regards, Dan
