Very nice.. Abstract, colorfull and mysterious.. Great piece of work.. And don't worry.. I'm still here, The gothic lady stole my hearth, but the rest of me is here..;) Just been rebuilding my machine from the ground up which leafs little space for making photo's.. but "I'll be back"..

What I find interesting in both photos is how you can get the fiber-like texture in places. For me the colors give me the association to the title you chose... You must have very colorful trees in Portugal :-)
