Melissa: I like the 100-400 very much. The only thing I would like to be able to do is to autofocuus with both the lens and the teleconverter fitted to the camera. My Canon D60 will not autofocus if the aperture is smaller than f/5.6 so I must manually focus most of the time. This particular image was made without the teleconverter fitted so I was able to use the autofocus capability. I have ordered one of the new Canon 1D MkII cameras which will autofocus at f/8. I look forward to also obtaining a longer faster lens in the near future but they are expensive and it will take some time.
