I think original can still work as it is with the lights... however, it doesn't make my heart race like the PS'ed image. Again, great image!

I took the original image and removed the lights in photoshop feeling that it would make for a better picture. More feeling to it, but it matters on the person or that moment in time when seeing the pictures to know which one is their favorite. I like both them both.

I agree the black creates tension or uncertainty very artistic. How did you achive the black void?

Excellent use of dark space to create a strong mood and emptiness. Creative composition. J.

I too don't find it peaceful, somehow the black nothingness creates a tension.A very unusual composition no doubt.

I wouldn't say that this image is peaceful... quite the opposite. My heart starts to race when I look at it. I feel like if I take a seat I might fall off into the deep blackness. As an image I love that it can stir such a deep emotional reaction. Very Nice!!!
