Thanks for the comments. Marc. Cropped foot, shadow and to much sky. Ya it is a self portrait on a 30sec timer, but you live and learn. A wider angle? You mean like a smaller f-stop? Still quite the beginer so I don't quite know what you mean, but thanks for the help. Aaron. I must try that anything to help with my dominant aperince :) Heather. Do be do be dooooo

This is a very nice start to a interesting self portrait. I would move the camera more to the right and at a lower angle looking up at you. Close the jacket and allow your collar to close also. Have your eyes only show. Have less sky and more shadow like the following comments says. At the lower angle will give you a more dominant look and closing your jacket a close and a mysterious look to you.

I like what you were going for here, very much so... Great style in this image... But... hehe... here are a few things that you may have considered...
1) Cropped foot vs. so much sky ? (Self portrait, I know :-)
2) Cropped shadow ? (Self portrait, I know :-)
3) Expression ? What about head down, eyes under the hat ?
4) A wider angle - 20mm or such - seemed to be very interesting as well. Regards
