Beautiful subject, but the composition doesn't seem balanced to me. Also the subtle color of your "winter Sunset" might be more powerful than the BW seen here. It seems to me that the very high contrast figure set against the dominant midtine back ground aren't quite working together. Maybe this is what is making think about a color version. That said, it is still a very good photograph.
I must say you have a beautiful portfolio and are obviously very skilled as a photographer.
